Senior Visitor Experience Officer
The contract is part time and permanent, and the hourly rate is £14.16. There are 1170.00 hours available over the course of a year. The employer, National Trust, is a charity. You will be based at Wray, which is an estate, which could mean diversity in the role. Note some estates are far from public transport. It is located in Cumbria.

We’re looking for someone with great people skills, who loves to inspire and delight by providing top-quality experiences for visitors, to join us as a Senior Visitor Experience Officer at Wray Castle.
This role supports the Operations Manager in making sure everything runs smoothly in what is a complex and lively visitor business.
This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.
Hill Top House, part of the South Lakes property portfolio, was the start of Beatrix Potter's life as a farmer and conservationist in the Lake District. A truly international icon, it is open to the public and a very busy small property!
Click here for more information about this locationAs part of the operations team, you'll be focused on achieving the highest standards of presentation and service, helping everything to run smoothly during projects, events, active conservation work, busy school holidays throughout the year. You’ll work alongside colleagues in the Welcome team to make sure everyone who visits has everything they need to enjoy their day.
You'll carry out duty management as needed, and will work weekends on a rota basis. Sometimes you may need to get stuck in and help wherever you’re needed, to keep the whole place running smoothly.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to talk to visitors, introducing them to all that makes Wray Castle so special. You may also be managing and supervising others, including volunteers.
