Senior Communications & Marketing Officer
The contract is full time and permanent, and the annual salary is £29,367. Your working time will be 37.50 hours each week. The employer, National Trust, is a charity. You will be based at Wimpole Estate, which is an estate, which could mean diversity in the role. Note some estates are far from public transport. It is located in Cambridgeshire.

In this role, you’ll support Wimpole Estate - one of the National Trust’s busiest properties.
It’s a varied position where you’ll champion everything we do across the full marketing mix: from media relations and social media to creating compelling web content. With your expertise, we can share the story of our work caring for the nation’s heritage and landscapes, ensuring they remain accessible and enjoyed by everyone.
You'll work at Wimpole Estate for 5 days per week.

Wimpole Estate is home to an elegant mansion, a working farm, and stunning gardens set within beautiful parkland.
Visitor numbers have risen in recent years, earning Wimpole a reputation as one of the National Trust’s most successful and dynamic properties. Life here is fast-paced, as you’d expect from such a popular location, but you’ll be part of a supportive team united by a shared purpose and passion for what we do.
You’ll be on hand to offer support and advice to property colleagues and take the lead on all marketing and communications activity for Wimpole. You'll be planning, creating, editing, proof-reading, co-ordinating, collating and sharing content for offline and online channels. You'll work on our website and support our social media activity, sharing fascinating stories about the work we do with the media and enticing visitors to come back season after season. You'll also act as Duty Manager from time to time, supporting the operations team. You'll be responsible on the day for the smooth running of the property during opening hours, acting as the main contact point for staff, volunteers, and customers in case of emergency, enquiry or complaint.
Overall, it’s a diverse and challenging role and a great step for those wanting to pursue a career in marketing and communications.
