As the public face of our properties, you’ll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit.
Salary: £11,271 The advertised salary is inclusive of the Outer London Weighting allowance of £3,315 per annum (prorated if you're part-time)
Contract/duration: 12 month Fixed Term part time role,. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.
Hours/working pattern: On average 15 hours per week. The role includes regular working at weekends & bank holidays, on a rota basis. Please note that we have a small team of Welcome Assistants so we would expect you to work at least one shift most weekends, with weekends off on a rota basis. Hours are 9.15am – 5pm, February – October, and a shorter day 9.15am – 4pm during the winter months.

Claremont Landscape Garden is a grade 1 listed garden created by the great landscape designers of the 18th century and charts the evolution of the English Landscape Garden.
Reporting to the Welcome Manager, you’ll be part of a team of five staff and several volunteers working at Claremont Landscape Garden’.

Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property events to social media promotion - no two days are the same. You will also be promoting membership to our visitors.
