Property System Facilities Management Lead

Job Description
One of the Trust’s enterprise data systems is its Property System – the record of all the land and buildings the Trust owns or holds an interest in. The system supports several business processes in the Trust, including the maintenance of its buildings and built assets, with circa 600 users maintaining the database
We’re looking for a Property System Facilities Management Lead to be the main contact for the Facilities Management teams.
This person will be an expert on the Property System and will work with the Head of Facilities Management to make sure the system meets industry standards, legal requirements, and business practices.
You’ll be joining us as we play an important role in embedding this Facilities Management system across the Trust, updating our processes and taking the next steps in benefitting from the insights the data now offers.

Our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings at other National Trust places. We’ll talk about this in more detail at interview, but you should expect to be at a National Trust site for 40–60% of your working week.

You’ll be part of a central team of five, ensuring the system and processes are up to date and accurate for the Facilities Management functions.
You’ll build on the substantial progress the Trust has made to establish a database of built assets, compliance obligations and maintenance tasks, supporting the Facilities Management teams and stakeholders across the Trust, providing creative and timely face-to-face training and advising 400+ users to engender user self-reliance.
By providing first-rate support to National Trust staff, you’ll be supporting the operational running of properties, places and outdoor spaces.
