The contract is full time for a fixed term, and the annual salary is £37,863. Your working time will be 36.00 hours each week. The employer, English Heritage, is a charity. You will be based at English Heritage National Office - Swindon, which is an office so you may not necessarily be in a heritage setting. It is located in Wiltshire.

We are looking for a Marketing Content Producer to join our team. The role is full-time and for a fixed term of 12 months, working 36 hours per week.
Our team deliver engaging and inspiring content that sits across both printed and digital channels. Within this role, you'll be producing web pages and content for the English Heritage website, weekly podcast and YouTube channel, including content for children and younger audiences. The role is varied, and you'll have lots of opportunity to show your creative flair in creating inspiring, informative and attractive web pages, as well as researching, writing and commissioning articles and images, and planning and attending film and photo shoots.

A primary focus of the role will be overseeing the delivery of the weekly podcast with an external agency, so experience in podcast production and relationship management would be an advantage. The role also specifically looks after childrens' printed and online content, so you'll need to be confident in adapting style and tone of voice.
Engaging with members of the wider English Heritage team, you'll identify opportunities for the promotion of these articles, for example on our social media channels and within our fortnightly Members' newsletters. Strong stakeholder management will be one of your key assets.
You'll be a team player with creative insights and vision and you'll thrive in a deadline-driven, collaborative environment. You'll be passionate about using our content to attract visitors to our website - and ultimately the places within our care.
This is a fixed term maternity cover, working full-time Monday to Friday. While the position is a hybrid role, you will be expected to work from the Swindon office once a week (usually on a Wednesday).
