Kenwood Supervisor
The contract is full time and permanent, and the pro-rata annual salary is £30,777, adjusted for hours worked. Your working time will be 36.00 hours each week. The employer, English Heritage, is a charity. You will be based at Kenwood, which is an estate, which could mean diversity in the role. Note some estates are far from public transport. It is located in Greater London.

As a Site Supervisor you will be responsible for:
People
- Support the recruitment, induction and training of all property staff.
- Schedule shifts to meet the needs of your site and your staff.
- Help deliver the volunteer programme.
- Line manage site staff and volunteers using Performance Development Reviews adopting a coaching and mentoring style.
Finance
- Support and take responsibility for the day-to-day financial management of the site, performing the role of daily cashier and sub-accountant as required.
- Support the manager by managing, coaching and motivating the team to achieve commercial targets.
- Assist with payroll budgeting and forecasting.
Compliance
- Make sure English Heritage safety and security checks are completed on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Take on licensee duties for alcohol sales, if required.
Visitor Experience
- Deliver an inspirational visitor experience through high standards of presentation and customer service.
- Champion the recruitment and retention of English Heritage members.
Stakeholder Relations
- Maintain positive relationships with local stakeholders.
Operations
- Support the Operations Manager with the planning and delivery of all activity on site.
- Take on duty management responsibilities as required, including out of hours.
We are looking for someone who can bring their experience of providing excellent customer service and strong staff supervisory skills as well as being able to work independently. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional organisational skills and also be a confident communicator, having strong interpersonal skills with both visitors and colleagues.
